Outline Description of Module
The module aims to give a survey of the main theoretical approaches to translation.
On completion of the module a student should be able to
- Have an understanding of the use of theory for translation;
- Have a knowledge of the main theoretical approaches to translation;
- Show ability to analyse the nature and relevancy of various theoretical arguments with regard to translation practice.
