AIMS OF THE MODULE (Aims define the broad purpose of the module)
To complete the study of the basic morphology and syntax of the language.
On completion of the module a student should be able to

On successful completion of the module, the student will demonstrate:
· A more advanced understanding of the vocabulary, grammar and syntax of Latin
· An ability to read and understand more advanced Latin texts
· An ability to translate more advanced Latin texts into English, with the assistance of dictionaries and grammar books

30 classes
Skills that will be practised and developed
Further study of the Latin language, building upon the work of HS3421 Reading Latin 1, and involving the reading of more advanced Latin texts.
