Outline Description of Module
The module aims at:
• creating awareness of the specific challenges involved in subtitling fiction-based film;
• attaining high levels of proficiency in critical reflection on subtitling;
• developing strategies for subtitling film dialogue, voice-over narration and on-screen language;
• building basic proficiency in subtitling practice.
